Waterproof/Breathable Duvet Protector, Top OR Bottom Waterproof:

Waterproof Protection - the protector can be used on the top of the duvet (where cats and dogs may sleep), OR the bottom of the duvet where people sleep (but not both the top AND the bottom).

Cool – when the waterproof side is on the top of the bed the protector is super cool to sleep under. Quiet, comfortable and cool to sleep under with none of the dampness, clamminess, or ballooning often found with other duvet protectors.

Fabric - The waterproof breathable side of the protector is made from a space age waterproof breathable urethane membrane bonded on both sides with a lightweight durable stretch polyester knit barrier fabric. The second side of the protector is made of ultra fine mesh. If you chose to use the protector on the top of your duvet, the ultra fine mesh will be on the bottom of the protector. Inside even the lightest of decorative duvet covers, you can’t feel the fine mesh. The mesh also makes the protector easy to machine wash and dry.

Ballooning - Ballooning is where the duvet protector traps air or water inside the protector that can’t escape.

When air is trapped ballooning makes for a very uncomfortable night.

When water is trapped when machine washing and drying duvet protectors it's virtually impossible to machine wash or dry the protector.

The ultra fine mesh stops air and water ballooning. The result is a great night's sleep and easy-care machine washing and drying.

Duvet Stays in Place – there are four cloth ties on each corner inside the protector, and four cloth ties on the outside of the protector. Tying the duvet to the protector, and the protector to your decorative cover makes sure the duvet stays in place.
